Located just north of Austin, Walnut Creek offers easy access to Austin, Round Rock, and Pflugerville. Comprised of mostly older, larger, one-story, ranch-style homes with mature trees, Walnut Creek is one of north Austin’s oldest communities. Named for the creek that forms the northern border of the community, this neighborhood was previously a dairy farm before homes were developed in the 1950s and ’60s.
